What we do not collect

• Your name, email address or any contact detail — there is no form to submit
• Your purchase price, income, mileage or any figure you enter
• Any account, profile or persistent identifier

Where your calculation goes

Nowhere. The calculator is JavaScript running on your own device. The numbers you type are processed in the page and discarded when you close the tab.

The one exception is deliberate: when you click Copy share link, your figures are encoded into the URL so the recipient sees the same calculation. That link contains your numbers in readable form. Share it only with people you intend to see them.

Analytics

We use privacy-respecting, cookie-free analytics to count page views and which features get used. It records aggregate events — that a calculation was completed, not what it contained. Monetary values, where recorded at all, are reduced to broad bands before transmission and cannot be tied back to an individual. No cross-site tracking, no advertising profile, no personal data, and nothing requiring a consent banner under GDPR.

Affiliate links

Outbound partner links may set their own cookies once you arrive on the partner's site, under that partner's privacy policy, not ours. Until you click, nothing is set. See the affiliate disclosure.

Local storage

The site may store a display preference (such as your chosen currency) in your browser's local storage. It stays on your device, is never transmitted, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have rights of access, rectification and erasure over personal data. Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing to access, correct or delete. Clearing your browser data removes every trace of your use of this site.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date above will change with it.
